Port Huron has plenty of options for cuisine around town. The Northern Huskies have some interesting top picks for the highest quality restaurants in Port Huron. Some hot foods in the area include pizza, tacos and a variety of other popular restaurant chains.
At the top of the list of restaurants is the cherished Casey’s Pizza and Subs located in downtown Port Huron. Caseys is well-known for its emphatic atmosphere and delicious food.
“My favorite thing in the restaurant to eat is easily the breadsticks and pizza because it’s what they are known most for” said Ben Genna (“20) “I also think it’s a hot spot because the food is so good and it’s a place where you can go with your family and everyone has an option for food if you aren’t a fan of pizza,” said Genna
Next up on the list is the famous Qdoba, a mexican cuisine fast food chain. “Qdoba has been one of my favorite restaurants in town since it opened up a few years ago, the food puts me in a great food because it has the quality of authentic mexican food while bragging the speed of a fast food restaurant,” said Erin Erwin (‘21).
Cracking the top restaurants next is the famous Buffalo Wild Wings, located in Birch Grove Plaza. “I think the food is really good and a lot of people go there because the food is decently priced, for the serving size and the quality of it. Buffalo Wild Wings is set apart from its competitors due to its atmosphere it creates, there is more to do than just eat,” said Nolan Michaluk (‘21).
Buffalo Wild Wings is well-known for their wings and wide variety of sauce flavorings, their colossal amounts of televisions posted around the restaurant make it the ideal hangout spot for your everyday sports lover.
In the same fashion as Qdoba another favored restaurant in Port Huron is the acclaimed Taco Bell located on Pine Grove avenue. Taco Bell is known for their fast mexican styled cuisine and their exclusive flavored frozen drink selection.
“I like Taco Bell because of the food, it is very good, has lots of variety and has a catchy name,” said Lucas Hooker (‘22). Taco Bell is a trendy restaurant that is especially popular among the youth in Port Huron.
Last but not least is the distinguished Red Pepper or commonly known as “Taco Tuesday” residing on 24th Avenue in Fort Gratiot. You can always expect Red Pepper to be active on a Tuesday afternoon because of their famous deal on tacos, you can acquire tacos for only 50 cents a piece.
I like Taco Tuesday every time I eat it, the food is always delectable and I feel like I am getting the absolute most out of my dollar every time I choose to eat there,” said Dawson Whitcher (‘22).  Red Pepper has surely made a name for itself in the town of Port Huron.
Port Huron has a wide variety of restaurants to choose from no matter what you are craving on any given day.
